The Hybrid Home Power Kit is a complete grid-tied solar and battery package for New Zealand homes, built on the Dyness Cygni: a 10kW hybrid inverter and modular battery in one clean floor-standing stack. Your panels charge the battery through the day, the house runs on stored power through the evening peak, and the grid stays there as backup.

In the box

Engineered string design

Every kit ships with a string plan matched to the Cygni's three MPP trackers: two strings of eight on the 16-panel kit (leaving a whole tracker free for future expansion), three strings on the 24 and 30. No combiner boxes, no external isolators - the Cygni integrates DC switching and surge protection.

Who this kit is for

Homeowners outside our Bay of Plenty install area, working with their own electrician. The kit ships NZ-wide (palletised, depot-to-depot freight - we will confirm freight after checkout or contact us for a delivered price). In the BOP? Talk to us about a full supply-and-install quote instead.

What is not included

Installation and all AC wiring, the grid-connection application to your lines company, and export-limit configuration - your electrician handles these. We supply full documentation and remote commissioning support so they are never guessing. Note: the Cygni requires at least two battery modules - it cannot run battery-less.
