The Powerstore30 is MEDA's flagship battery system for three-phase properties. Three Victron MultiPlus-II inverter/chargers — one per phase — and six 10 kWh Dyness Powerbox G2 wall units (61 kWh, expandable past 100 kWh), AC-coupled to your switchboard. It works with whatever solar you already have, single or three-phase, any brand, untouched. It balances your import across all three phases, charges on cheap rates when the sun doesn't deliver, and when the network goes down, your entire three-phase board keeps running.

Three ways to run it

• Solar self-consumption — store the surplus from your existing array, run the property on it after dark.
• Cheap-rate charging — fill 61 kWh on night rates, spend it through the day and peaks.
• Grid backup — full battery held in reserve, seamless takeover on all three phases.

Grid-connected batteries need your lines company's approval (AS/NZS 4777) — we handle that with you.

FAQ

I have single-phase solar on a three-phase house — does that work? Yes. The Powerstore meters all three phases and balances your net import, so solar on one phase still offsets the whole property.

Can it run three-phase machinery in an outage? Yes — it's true three-phase (not three independent units), so motors, pumps and workshop gear keep running, up to ~24 kW continuous.

Can I go bigger than 61 kWh? Yes — the Powerbox G2 platform parallels up in 10 kWh steps; 100 kWh+ is add-a-unit, no redesign. A higher-capacity floor-standing battery option (Dyness PowerBrick Pro, 14.3 kWh per unit) is also available on request.

What about battery fires? These are LiFePO4 batteries — the calm, stable lithium chemistry — managed by a smart BMS, and every Powerbox G2 also has a built-in aerosol fire extinguisher that detects and acts in seconds. That's a level of protection most home batteries don't have.

Is it safe? Yes — on top of the batteries' own protection, the whole system is installed and certified by licensed electricians to AS/NZS standards, with battery placement per AS/NZS 5139.
