Own your power. One cabinet. Whole home. A complete single-phase solar + battery system that slashes your power bills, keeps the lights on when the grid drops out, and even heats your hot water from spare sun — designed, built and backed by MEDA.
From $43,800 incl GST — standard 12-panel / 20 kWh build, supply-only. Configure your setup or get a tailored quote.
The Powervault10 is a ready-to-run home power system in a single MEDA-built cabinet: 10 kVA of clean power, 20 kWh of lithium storage (expandable to 40 kWh) and 5.7–17.1 kWp of solar — all wired, tested and commissioned before it reaches your wall. Solar runs your home and charges the battery by day; the battery carries you through the night; spare solar heats your hot water; and grid or generator quietly tops up only when needed.
Four ways to run it
One cabinet, set up to suit your place — and reconfigured later as your needs change:
- Off-grid — no mains at all; solar and battery run everything, with an optional generator for the worst weather.
- Grid backup — the grid stays your everyday supply and the battery sits ready, taking over the instant the power cuts so your essential circuits stay on.
- Solar self-consumption — uses your solar and battery first and the grid only when needed, trimming your bill with backup built in; can cover the whole home and, where approved, export the surplus.
- Whole-home hybrid — your whole house runs through the Powervault, solar and battery first, grid last — simple, no extra metering.
Grid-connected modes that export power need your lines company's approval (AS/NZS 4777) — we handle that with you.
Built for
Homes, lifestyle blocks and small businesses that want to cut power bills, ride through outages, and take control of their energy. If you're on a single-phase supply and want serious storage with room to grow, this is your system.

| Panels | Solar | Controllers | Good for |
| 12 (standard) | 5.7 kWp | 1× 250/100 | everyday homes |
| 18 | 8.55 kWp | 1× 250/100 | more winter & cloudy-day power |
| 24 | 11.4 kWp | 2× 250/100 | bigger homes, higher use, more hot water |
| 36 | 17.1 kWp | 2× 250/100 | maximum harvest / poor-sun sites |
Free hot water from the sun
When your battery is full and the sun's still shining, the Powervault doesn't waste the surplus — it automatically sends it to your hot-water cylinder through the inverter's second output. A sunny day tops up your hot water for free, on top of charging your battery. It switches on near a full battery and eases off as it comes down, with an optional boost if you want a guaranteed top-up. Hot water is the standard setup, but it can drive any resistive load you choose — towel rails, underfloor heating, a pool or spa. The more solar you fit, the more free heat you get — and for hot water there's no new plumbing, it uses your existing electric element.

FAQ
Will it run my whole house? ~8 kW continuous — plenty for a typical home. Spread very heavy simultaneous loads (oven + hot water + EV + pumps at once).
Can I add more solar later? Yes — start at 12 panels and grow to 18 on the same controller, or up to 36 by adding a second controller (the cabinet and busbar are already set up for it).
Can I add more battery later? Yes — the busbar is drilled for up to 8 batteries (40 kWh), so it's a bolt-in upgrade.
Is it safe? Lithium LiFePO₄ batteries with built-in management, switchless isolation, installed and certified by licensed electricians.
